CTC445 – Casing the Garden Walk section

I hope you are having a great weekend. On my last CTC post, I said that I would be putting up my Christmas decorations. Well it took me 4 days to get it all done! So I missed last week’s hop as I didn’t get a chance to make anything. But it’s all done so here’s a couple of photos of my 2 trees. (One tree is my travel tree, which has ornaments that I bought on my travels)

This is the main tree!
And this is the travel/Disney tree

So as you can tell, I’m into Christmas!! If you want to see it all, check out my instagram, @thebecscurr to see a full video of it all.

So this week, we are casing the Garden Walk section, pages 52-55 of the September to December 2023 Mini Catalogue.

I just love the Garden Walk DSP!! It’s so lovely and whilst a few of the designs are Christmassy, not all are, which is great.

I decided to case the card with the gold circle on the top right.

I had to do the gold circle, so I used the silver and gold adhesive adhesive backed glimmer paper that you can get with the Online Exclusives. I “may” have a couple of packets of this!!

I cut mine out using the Stylish Shapes dies. I also cut out the sentiment using these dies but I had to use the larger banner to fit the sentiment in. It was too long so I just re-aligned the die cut piece back in the die and made it shorter. I then die cut a few pieces of greenery using Shaded Spruce cardstock and the Timeless Arrangements dies. I stamped a few of the flowers from the Modern Garden stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink and cardstock and fussy cut these out. I then assembled using dimensionals and glue dots. I should also mention that I used one of the notecards and envelopes for this card as my piece of dsp from the Joy of Christmas pack was the perfect size already.

Next up is the talented Judy. I always love what she creates!!

We would love to see what you create, so please share on our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping!!
